Love of Quilting

I love quilting. My first taste of the craft was when I was 6 years old. At the time, my mom was making a Sun Bonnet Sue quilt for me. I got a couple of her Sue's to make a sampler. I remember thing she needed a face! That's why the top one looks so odd.

In the fourth grade, I had a class project and decided to make a quilt for it. It really was my first own design. I remember trying to figure out how I could use other shapes to make something. Triangles it was! Somehow I managed to have a perfect point the the center. This was also my first time using the sewing machine!

Since then my stitches have greatly improved, my love of the art has stayed the same!
