EMERGENCY!!! Call Google!

I was in the middle of pressing hundreds of pieces which were  ready to sew into blocks. I needed one good last press though.. What a better time to run out of my favorite, Best Press. Not! I didn't want to drive the 20 minutes into town, so I was on my own. I found DIY "recipes" and tested them. This is the formula I came up with:

You will need:

                                -Spray bottle

                                -Argo Corn Starch

                                -Distilled or spring water

-Optional: essential oils for added scent

Fill your bottle up ¾ full with distilled or spring water and add a half teaspoon per 8 ounces of Argo corn starch. If desired, add one drop of essential oils for scent. Shake well before use because the starch will separate on the bottom. After completing the project, wash.

Why do I specify Argo corn starch? I have used other brands in the past and have found they don’t work as well as Argo. I actually have a Mason jar in my studio just for that purpose.
