Today is the day! It is the start of the bustiest week before Christmas. My to-do list is ever growing. I have two patterns I need to finish up, one quilt top to complete, cookie, candy and cakes to make. Oh what a week it will be.
Today's agenda: Pattern design work & Fruit Cakes. Two things that will take all day to make happen.
I wish I could share the outcome of the newest pattern, but it would spoil the surprises. I always enjoy when people see the newest design and love it. It feels like my hard work has paid off, even if sales are little. I am not yet "discovered" in the quilt pattern world. Maybe that day will come, it is my dream it will. It My goal is one day this will become a career to fully support myself.
The other half of today's goal is simple yet time consuming. Fruit cakes. Here's the recipe my grandmother wrote. I am so blessed to have her little recipe book. I must get busy!
