Block Construction: Emerald

What's not to like about Emerald? This block went together so easy. I really can't complain about it. My one main issue was getting the center perfect. I was noticing some pieces I had basted with a perfect point and others the point had been lost. This was causing the problem. Rather than undoing the whole block I just wiggled some of the fabric around to close the hole. After being quilted it isn't noticeable (unless you are really deeply searching for it. lol)

Are your blocks getting easier to make? What is your trouble points?

This block went so smooth I forgot to take pictures along the way, but here was my fabric choices. My dark's were really dark almost borderline a black. The medium was pretty dark, more the emerald green I was wanting. The light stands out a little more than I really desired. I'm still happy with it though!
