2025 October Quilt Block Mania

2025 Quilt Block Mania (QBM) is full of themed photo, color inspired, traditional quilt blocks! I had so much fun designing this quilt based on photos from my phone. All the fabrics are from Charisma Horton's Live Boldly Collection by Timeless Treasures.

I love decorating my home for all of the seasons, but fall is my favorite - besides Christmas, of course. I found this photo last year. The pictured quilt is "Fiesta." You can find more information about the quilt here.

From this inspiration picture, I gathered a color scheme and leaves as they key ingredients for October's quilt block.

After sketching out a couple options, I ended up liking the four maple leaves the best. That teal though! It sets the entire block off to perfection!

The fabric colors are: Teal, Orange, Carrot, Scarlet and Sable. I can't wait to share a real photograph of the entire quilt! The fabrics look fabulous in person.

Here is a picture of this years blocks and their inspiration photo thus far! If you want to make the entire quilt, go ahead and add a 1 1/2" border to the block. For more information on previous block and the quilt, check out this page!
