February #2019MonthlyColorChallenge


One of my favorite parts of quilting is picking out fabric. Color and fabric pattern dictates what the end project will look like...the possibilities are endless! Surprisingly I had a limited amount of pinks, none of which really reminded me of carnations. This is what I ended up with:

This months block if pretty simple! If you can make half square triangles, you have this in the bucket. Jen gives great instructions if you haven't made them before. I was able to make the entire block in about 30 minutes, give or take a few.

I would say the most important thing to remember is nest your seams. If you do you will get perfect points. (Forgive the messy seam, my machine visited the doctor after this block.)

After a few slices and seams you are left with this block.
