Ahhh, dreams are sometimes only dreams! Considering this month our theme is "Friendship" we should really be focusing on my friends house anyway! This is the second house block for the Sunshine Village quilt. Here is the digital sketch:
Of course, for me, digital is only the second step in my design process. I normally start with markers and grid paper. Digital sketches help me decide dimensions, figure out yardage, etc. but the final product normally evolves as I make the quilt. So, here is the final "My Best Friends House."
Friendship threw me a minute with how to incorporate it. I knew I wanted more houses and with the heads-up on the remained of 2023 themes, this was the perfect opportunity! I know we have had a house back to back, but I promise next month isn't one.
