What a month! I could show you "beautiful" pictures of my sprained ankle, but I know you wouldn't be interested in that! Seriously though, it has been a nightmare. Finally, after four weeks, I was able to tackle more than the two steps coming into my house. It's been a pain - literally and figuratively. Still is, quite honestly. Yet, you didn't come here to read about my (stupid) medical woes. I mean who sprains their ankle walking through their own house on a Sunday morning while getting ready for church!
For the month of March, the Village building was a flower shop. This is the digital sketch. I don't think I have ever written such a complex pattern before. For a (12 1/2" x 12 1/2") block it sure took time and testing!
Here is what my block ended up looking like. It is more of a peach than pink. I'm happy with it though. I didn't embellish yet because I need to get a few more pictures for social media, etc. before I start adding personal touches.
