2025 September Quilt Block Mania

2025 Quilt Block Mania (QBM) is full of themed photo, color inspired, traditional quilt blocks! I had so much fun designing this quilt based on photos from my phone. All the fabrics are from Charisma Horton's Live Boldly Collection by Timeless Treasures.

September is all about Technology in the Quilt Block Mania world. It took me a bit to find a "technology" picture. But, when I did, I knew it was the perfect one. My darling niece lives about five hours away from me. We will video chat from time to time and she loves using the filters! I took this screenshot, capturing the moments of early childhood that are quickly fleeting.

The quilt block choice was interesting. I couldn't quite figure out what traditional block to use, until I found Valley Square. It instantly brought me to Silicon Valley - the technology valley of the USA. Perfect.

The fabric is from Charisma Horton's line, "Live Boldly" from Timeless Treasures. I believe I used ten different colors, but you certainly don't have too! I tried to capture all of the colors in the photograph into this one block.

Here is a picture of this years blocks and their inspiration photo thus far! If you want to make the entire quilt, go ahead and add a 1 1/2" border to the block. For more information on previous block and the quilt, check out this page!
