Quilt Block Mania July 2025

This months block was so fun for me! As a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant, my color scheme was a no-brainer. The photo was fun to take! Two businesses suddenly colliding in an unexpected way!
As to the block choice, I had a list of traditional blocks I wanted to use at some point. The Broken Dishes block fit the challenge. Lots of colors in a little space. When I was laying out my block, I felt like I was playing color Sudoku. Since there are five rows, and five colors it worked perfectly!
If you want to make the entire quilt, trim the quilt block to 14 1/2" x 14 1/2". If you want it to be a 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" block, trim to size.
Here is our quilt thus far! Please note, the blocks don't have their border. This is only what it would look like if you were to sew all of the blocks together today.
