Susan's Sunny Side Up Diner

November's Quilt Block Mania theme is "kitchen." This was another block it took a little creativity in how to incorporate this into a place. I thought about doing another house, but it wasn't going to fit well within the layout. So, we have a diner.

Keeping with the Sun, Sue and Sam names, I thought Sunny-Side Up would be a cute name for a diner. You can rename yours if you would like. I re-named mine because Sunny-Side Up was just to many letters to embroidery. I love seeing your creativity!

This block was fun. I wanted an 1950s type of diner, hence my color scheme. I still need to add the Sunbonnet families to this row, but the quilt is nearly finished!

First peak at the Sunshine Village quilt with all of the blocks showing and quilted! It's not the best picture but I couldn't wait any longer to share! You can purchase the previous blocks for $1.25 each if you missed them. During the month of December 2023, the finishing instructions and Sunbonnet family templates will be available for free or you can purchase the quilt pattern in it's entirety. I hope you love this project as much as I do!

Who would like to do another Sunbonnet family project during 2024? Let me know in the comment section below!
